This simple guide will show you how deep you can dive in missions until factions clash.

The Brotherhood of Steel

  • Spoils of War: boarding will make you an enemy of the Institute.
  • Tactical Thinking: Talking to Captain Lancer Kells after the mission has started will make you an enemy of the railroad.

The Minutemen

  • Banished from the Institute: The main task is to be hostile to actions that will make the Institute dislike you. Completing this mission makes you their enemy.
  • With Our Powers Combined: You start this mission if you took the side of the Minutemen and were the enemies of the Brotherhood.
  • If you play well, the only enemy the Minutemen will have will be the Institute.

The Institute

  • Mass Fusion:The use of relays makes you an enemy of the Brotherhood.
  • End of the Line: Talking to Father will make you an enemy of the railway.

The Railroad

  • Underground Undercover: performing this task during power up will prompt Z1-14 to speak to you. He will say that the railway headquarters is under attack and that you must speak to Desdemona, if you come back to her, the Brotherhood will become your enemy.
  • The Nuclear Option:Once you have completed the Rockets' Red Glare, Desdemona will give you this mission and you will become an enemy of the Institute.
